About the Grassroots Fund
The Grassroots Fund supports small groups throughout greater northern California that are tackling tough environmental problems including toxic pollution, urban sprawl, environmental degradation of our rivers and wild places, as well as, of our communities and our health. Maximum grant size is $5,000.

Grantees must report to us 1 year after receiving Grassroots Fund grant using our self evaluation report form.
Grassroots Training Scholarships
Grantees are encouraged to increase their effectiveness by expanding their organizational and administrative skill through a training scholarship program.

Every year, the Grassroots Fund holds a day-long convening of its grantees for networking and training.
