Check Eligibility for Training Scholarship

Your group is eligible for a training scholarship if you have received a grant from the Northern California Environmental Grassroots Fund. If you have not received a grant from the Grassroots Fund, then you are not eligible.

Even if your group would no longer be eligible to receive a Grassroots Fund grant (for example, if the group is now to big), you can still receive a training scholarship.

Each group is eligible to receive up to $300 per year in training scholarships.

If you travel more than 75 miles round trip to attend the training, you are also eligible for a travel stipend. Travel stipends are provided based on distance and does NOT count against the $300 annual scholarship cap.

• If your roundtrip mileage to the training is less than 75 miles, reimbursement is $0.

• If your roundtrip mileage is between 76 - 125 miles, reimbursement is $25.

• If your roundtrip mileage is between 126 - 175 miles, reimbursement is $50.

• If your roundtrip mileage is 176 miles or more, reimbursement is $75.
